How It Works

From a paragraph to a working agent

You describe the agent and pick what it can do. We run it, log every conversation, and hand you the people it talks to.

1
Describe the agent in plain English
Write what it's for, how it should speak, and what it must never do. That writing is the agent.
You're the front desk for Acme Dental. Book appointments, answer from our price list, and never quote a price you can't confirm.
2
Switch on what it can do
Give it your knowledge, take bookings, capture details, verify who it's talking to, call your own APIs. Pick only what you need.

3
Put it where your customers already are
A hosted chat page, a widget on your site, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, a phone number, or a webhook your systems call. Same agent everywhere — by text or by voice.

Capabilities

Everything an AI agent needs to do the job

Every agent starts blank. Switch on only what the job needs — every capability is included in every plan.

Answer from your knowledge

  • Files become knowledge
PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CSV and Markdown, searched on every question.
  • Your website, crawled
Follows your sitemap and links, respects robots.txt and skips duplicate pages.
  • Product cards in the chat
Import a CSV or JSON catalogue and answers show image, price and details.
  • A private sandbox
Talk to the agent, see which knowledge it used, fix the brief before launch.

Collect and qualify

  • Details, one question at a time
Names, dates, numbers — asked in conversation, saved to the contact.
  • Documents and photos
Customers upload IDs and forms right in the chat.
  • A branching question tree
Asks only what applies, based on earlier answers.
  • Interests and a deal pipeline
Records what each person wants and moves them through your stages.

Book, plan and remember

  • Bookings that stick
Real slots, your rules, details read back — rescheduling and cancelling too.
  • Itineraries, day by day
Builds a dated plan with the customer and keeps it across conversations.
  • A routine tracker
Daily plans with check-ins and progress over time.
  • Memory across visits
Returning customers pick up where they left off.

Connect your systems

  • Your APIs as tools
Calls your endpoints mid-conversation and acts on the answer.
  • Triggered by your systems
One POST to the agent's webhook starts a run.
  • A daily scheduled task
Have the agent run a task every day at the time you set.

Keep humans in control

  • Approval before it acts
Bookings or API calls you choose wait for a person to approve.
  • Approve from Telegram
Approvers get a card with Approve and Deny in Telegram.
  • Take over any chat
Flagged conversations land in your inbox; reply yourself, then hand back.
  • A page per contact
What each person asked for, booked and submitted.
  • A team with roles
Owners, managers, operators and viewers; a team bot answers on Telegram.

Talk, not just type

  • Voice calls on the web
Visitors talk to the agent from its chat page.
  • Your own phone number
Connect a Twilio number and the agent answers calls. On higher plans.
  • WhatsApp voice notes
Voice notes are transcribed and answered.
  • One brief for text and voice
The same agent, knowledge and tools on every call.

FAQ

Questions about BotPanel

What is BotPanel?

BotPanel is a platform for building AI agents — chatbots and voice agents — by writing what they should do in plain English. You give an agent your knowledge, switch on what it can do, like bookings, collecting details or calling your own APIs, and put it on your website, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord or a phone number.

Can BotPanel agents talk as well as chat?

Yes. Visitors can start a voice call from the agent's chat page, WhatsApp voice notes are transcribed and answered, and on higher plans an agent can answer calls on your own phone number, connected through your Twilio account.

Which channels does an agent work on?

A hosted chat page, a widget embedded on your website, WhatsApp through your own WhatsApp Business number, Telegram, Slack direct messages, Discord through the /ask command, and a webhook your own systems can call. It is the same agent and the same brief on every channel.

Which AI models does BotPanel use?

Models from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) and DeepSeek. You choose the model for each agent, and every plan includes every model.

Do I need to write code or build flowcharts?

No. An agent's brief is plain writing: who it is for, what it must never do and how it should answer. Change a sentence and you change the behaviour. Connecting your own systems means describing an API endpoint, not writing code.

How does the agent stay accurate?

It answers from the documents, website pages and catalogues you give it, and says when it doesn't know. Before it goes live you can talk to it privately in the sandbox and see which knowledge each answer used.

Can a person step in or approve what the agent does?

Yes. Conversations that need a person are flagged in your inbox, where you can take over and hand back. Actions you choose, such as a booking or a call to your own API, can wait for a team member to approve them, in the dashboard or with one tap in Telegram.

How do I get started?

BotPanel is invite-only right now, and the team sets up each account. Every plan includes every model and every capability; plans differ on volume, and the pricing page lists them.
